Takayo (and her assistants) were SO incredibly lovely!!! Our Hen Gee, had the best time ever and the pictures looked absolutely fantastic. Takayo was professional, friendly, patient (there were a lot of girls!!!) and her service is definitely a must for Hen parties – everyone loved this part of the day and could not stop going on about. 5 Stars all the way!

Fabulous kimono party for my friends hen party in Manchester. We took our own green tea and sake really did have a ball. If you’re looking for something a little different but loads of fun, this ticks all the boxes.

This was a perfect surprise hen party for my soon to be sister in law. She wasn’t keen on being the centre of attention too much and this party meant we all got to dress up in Takayo’s beautiful kimonos. Takayo was friendly and helpful over the phone and this continued when we met her. Everyone looked stunning when they were dressed ok and we all had fun trying our hand at calligraphy on paper fans that we got to keep as a momento.
This party suited the wide range in ages as everyone could take part, it made for a very classy hen party. Thanks Takayo for a wonderful, memorable event.

昨日は美宇のパーティーに来ていただき、本当にありがとうございました。Kimono Partyということで、招待状の段階からゲストの方々の期待値が相当高かったのですが、その期待を裏切らない大満足の一日になりました。無事に終わって私もほっとしています。美宇もお友だちに日本のことを知ってもらったり、みんなで綺麗な浴衣を着ることができ、本当に喜んでいました。素敵な一日にしてくださり、貴代さんには感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。

お天気にも恵まれ、お庭でのファッションショー＆写真撮影は、ゲストの方にも大変好評でした。一人のお友だち（ママ）は、さっそくお嬢さんの着物の写真をFacebookのプロフィール写真に設定していました。また、貴代さんたちが手際よく浴衣を着せる様にみなさん驚いていました。「私も着てみたい！」というママさん達も沢山いて、みなさん興味津々のようでした。

18人と人数も多く、オーガナイズが大変なときもあったかと思いますが、素敵なパーティーにしていただき、主人ともども感謝しています。貴代さんのような方がロンドンにいてくださり、本当にラッキーでした。また、ゲストの方々が招待状の段階からとても楽しみしていてくれたように、外国の方が持つ日本文化のイメージの高さに改めて驚かされると共に、遠い母国への誇りと感謝の気持ちが改めて高まった一日でした。

ぜひまた機会がありましたら、妹の誕生日やLeaving Partyなどでお世話になれればと思います。

I just wanted to say what a great experience the kimono party on Saturday was. It was so very busy and crazy but perfect. I loved that everyone could get involved. My house had never seemed so small I couldn’t believe the amount of shoes and bags in the hall. I felt that I didn’t really get chance to chat to you guys throughout the party so I’m glad that you’d called before!

I’m impressed that you managed to capture 20 ladies attention and it was great to see the concentration on everyone’s faces while they were doing their fans. I also now have a new nickname of Dish which I can’t work out if it’s better or worse than my new surname of Brain!

昨日は、素敵なパーティーを本当にありがとうございました。

当日を迎えるまで、色々相談にも乗っていただき、心配性の私ですがママ担当のケーキタイム以外は、本当におまかせの気分で安心して当日を迎えられました。

着物を着るだけでなく、日本の文化の説明、クラフトづくり、まったく飽きることない時間構成で、さらに子供たちが順次着物に変身していくそのプロセスもとても楽しく盛り上がり、夫婦そろってホントに貴代さんにお願いして良かったね、という話をしました。

先日はパーティーお疲れ様でした。

おかげさまで大好評を博し、あれからママやお友達から「写真ができたらちょうだいね！」と、毎日のようにお声がかかり、かなりパーティーを楽しんでくれたようです。「キモノパーティーなんて、とっても素敵なアイデアね！」とも。女の子はキモノ姿の自分にかなりウットリできたようで。実際、それぞれみんな可愛いくなって驚きました。

私達にとりまして、どこかの会場を借りてでなく、自宅でできたことはロンドン生活の良い記念となりましたし、一生懸命お写真もたくさん撮って頂き、ありがとうございました。

土曜日はどうもありがとうございました！直前にパーティーを引き受けてくださり、その後もクラフトのことなど色々ありがとうございました。家でパーティーをするのは初めてだったので、準備もバタバタと、落ち着かない状態でしたが貴代さんのおかげで、無事やり終えることができました。娘も大満足していました。みんなとても楽しそうで、かわいかったです。パーティーの連絡をしたときは、実はお母さんたちの反応のほうが大きくて、すごく楽しみにしていたようなので、早速その日のうちに撮ったお写真を送りました。お友達の一人は、とても気に入って、お母さんに「Kimono買って欲しい！」と言っていましたよ。パーティーの写真って後から見ても、なんだかバラバラな感じのものが多いですが今回の集合写真は圧巻ですね！すごくいい記念として残せるので嬉しいです。

その後、何人かの日本人のお友達にパーティーの写真を見せたのですが、みんな貴代さんのパーティーの存在を知らなくて、すごくいいねと言っていました。日本人が現地校のお友達を呼ぶのには最高のパーティーだなと思うのですが、あまり日本人の中で知られていないのがもったいないです。私の周りのお友達には広めておきますね＾

Thank you so much for the fantastic sushi party. My family and I had a great time and more importantly the birthday girl had the best time ever. It was a truly fantastic experience for all of us . we all agree that the success of the party was entire down to you. they were all a bit  nervous about the whole thing to begin with  (new experience of course) and you made them feel at easy immediately. You managed the group very well. You gave each of us all the attention needed. It is such a lovely experience for families to have . I am definitely recommend it to all my friends.

All of the girls loved the party. The accessories, dressing up, photo frame making and origami were all a huge success. Takayo and her team were loved by girls. None had been to a kimono party before. Utterly original and truly magical. Thank you, for a fabulous party. – I want to book one for the mums, but with bubbles instead of fizzy water.

The girls had so much fun dressing up in the wonderful bright Kimonos and having their pictures taken like Japanese Fashion Models.  They were all super excited and the hair accessories were absolutely gorgeous.  Perfect for this age group as they learnt that some clothes have a historical/ceremonial significance associated to them, rather than always thinking of the celebrity and fashion they are so used to when dressing up these days.  A very fresh and creative idea and certainly the most fun I have seen a group of girls get up to in a long time.  The sushi workshop followed the Kimono dress up and that was simply amazing. The quiet concentration as the girls created works of art as far as the sushi making went – completely astounding and they all enjoyed eating it afterwards! Fabulous in a nutshell!!!  The best party Scarlett has ever had.
